Mugler enters a new dimension with its Spring–Summer 2026 campaign, Stardust Aphrodite, the first major visual statement under the creative direction of Miguel Castro Freitas. This campaign redefines the House’s retro-futuristic DNA, blending neon-drenched surrealism, cinematic storytelling, and sculptural fashion to create a universe where strength, glamour, and femininity intersect.

Photographed by Robi Rodriguez, the visuals embrace B-movie aesthetics and dream-logic cinema, favoring tension, shadow, and shimmer over the minimalism dominating contemporary fashion imagery. Industrial landscapes, constructed architectural marvels, and neon-lit nocturnal environments provide the backdrop for a high-energy narrative of danger, desire, and empowerment.

The silhouettes channel Mugler’s legendary sculptural identity: razor-sharp shoulders, draped leather, tailored jackets, and architectural skirts dominate the collection. Crystalline embellishments and “armoured” detailing amplify the sense of command and drama, reinforcing the House’s iconic power dressing. The campaign also celebrates the debut of Freitas’ first handbags for Mugler, the Lua and the Aurora, which establish a new standard for modern, enigmatic accessories within the brand’s aesthetic.

The women of Stardust Aphrodite are fearless protagonists, magnetic and compelling. Models Agel Akol, Arina Hulik, and Fi James embody a new chapter of Mugler femininity: strong, seductive, and unapologetically bold. Hair styling by Louis Ghewy and makeup by Lauren Aiello heighten the cinematic atmosphere, while music direction by Teho Teardo accentuates the hypnotic tension. Casting was managed by Midland Agency, production by 247PLUS, and PR by KCD Worldwide Paris.
Freitas describes his vision: “At Mugler, I’m drawn to strong, glamorous characters where power becomes visceral.
This campaign, the first part of a trilogy, crystallizes that philosophy. It’s a story of identity and transformation, of strong women who refuse definition.”

The Stardust Aphrodite collection will be available at select boutiques and Mugler’s official website from January 2026, solidifying the campaign as a bold declaration of modern, retro-futuristic femininity and Mugler’s renewed creative vision.
